The 2022 Fourth of July Parade

Happy Birthday America!

The 4th of July Parade and reading of the Declaration of Independence in Stonington Borough is always enchanting and a lot of fun. Many thanks to The Stonington Historical Society for organizing and hosting this incredible event year after year, and the Borough of Stonington and Dime Bank for providing financial sponsorship this year. Immediately following, the Stonington Village Improvement Association (SVIA) hosted an ice cream social, with ice cream donated by Dog Watch Café. The event is a quintessential small-town parade that captures the charm of our quaint village.
