How to Eat Better in 2020
People put a lot of pressure on themselves to change their ways the first of the new year. Statistics show that weight loss/healthier eating is the #1 resolution people make, and it may be for good reason — after weeks of family gatherings, holiday events, and celebrations, one may feel a bit overindulged.
May we suggest one way of eating better in 2020? Choose wisely! There are a number of fantastic restaurants in Stonington Borough serving local, organic, fresh, delicious food and we couldn’t be happier that many have served our community for decades. We’ve highlighted just a few outstanding dishes, but please, visit them and let us know what you think!
Breakwater at Stonington Harbor
Breakwater at Stonington Harbor is located at 66 Water Street. They’re currently closed for a brief winter recess, but reopening Wednesday, January 15th at 11:30 am. They’re hours are Wednesday through Saturday 11:30 am - 9 pm, Sunday 11 am - 9 pm. They’re closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.
DOG WATCH CAFÉ
Dog Watch Café is located at 194 Water Street. They’re open Sunday through Thursday 11:30 am - 9 pm, Friday and Saturday 11:30 am - 9:30 pm. They’re currently closed for a brief winter recess, but reopening Friday, January 10th. There’s also a second location at 20 Old Stonington Road in Mystic.
Noah’s Restaurant
Noah’s Restaurant is located at 113 Water Street. They’re open Tuesday through Saturday: Breakfast 7:45 am - 11:30 am, Lunch 11:30 am - 5 pm, Dinner 5 pm - 9 pm (Fri + Sat 9:30). Sunday: Brunch 7:45 am - 3 pm, Lunch 3 pm - 5 pm, Dinner 5 pm - 9 pm.
Water Street Café
Water Street Café is located at 143 Water Street. They’re open for dinner Monday through Thursday 5 pm - 9:30 pm and Friday and Saturday from 5 pm - 10:30 pm.
