There’s a lot cooking in Stonington Borough! Our wonderful restaurants have made it through a tough year. They’re stronger than ever and serving up some of the best food in Connecticut. Make a date to visit our village, stroll the shops, and settle into a fantastic meal.
Breakwater at Stonington Harbor
Fresh seafood, stimulating cocktails, and stunning sunsets with views of Stonington Harbor and Fisher’s Island Sound. Breakwater is easily accessible by boat, offering a temporary "tie-up" to their 200 ft. long dock or small boat / dinghy dock — free while dining. They’re open on Mother’s Day 11:30 am to 9:00 pm, serving their regular menu as well as chef’s specials all day. Reservations encouraged, and walk-ins available as well. 66 Water Street, Stonington.

Dog Watch Café
Located directly overlooking Stonington Harbor, Dog Watch is casual and family-friendly. They are currently taking reservations for indoor and outdoor dining, with regular Sunday Brunch specials available from 11:30 am - 3 pm. The “Dog Pound” bar has been moved to the front of the restaurant, along with an ice cream and tent full of great merchandise.* 194 Water Street, Stonington

Macondo Coffee, Juices & Smoothies
Located in a small plaza on Route 1, Macondo has grown a loyal following for good reason — their Colombian coffee is out of this world, and their pastries and baked goods are the perfect “breakfast” if you’re on the go and in a hurry. Noah’s Restaurant
Owned and operated by the chef, Noah's is a casual fine dining restaurant with a great bar. Specializing in scratch cooking of basic, fresh and wherever possible, local ingredients, Noah's draws a large crowd for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. They’re doing Sunday Brunch on Mother’s Day with some great specials. Happy hour is 3 pm - 5 pm, and supper (3 pm - 9 pm) is a three-course meal, made a little fancier on holidays geared toward moms, dads and kids. 113 Water Street, Stonington

Stonington Pizza Palace
What started out as a tiny pizza and grinder shop is now a full-scale, family-friendly restaurant with an expanded menu. Great apps, specialty pizzas, veggie platters, fresh salads, pasta, sandwiches, and party trays are available and made with fresh, local ingredients. Water Street Café
Located in the heart of Stonington Borough for decades, Water Street Café is renown for its food, oyster bar, and warm atmosphere. Fresh local seafood, organic produce, local dairy, on-premises bakery and a fabulous bar make it a favorite among locals.
